Bac Ha Sunday Market Tour – Sa Pa Trek (3 days 4 nights)

Itinerary:

Friday night 1:Hanoi to Lao cai  by night train

Sapa Trekking driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi at 8:45 PM. then transfer you go to Hanoi train station to catch the night train to go to Lao cai.

Overnight on the train to Lao Cai station-  Soft sleeper in joined Cabin deluxe express Train 4berths with A/C

Day 1 Saturday:Lao Cai – Sapa – Love Waterfall – Fansipan Mountain (B/L)

Arrive at Lao Cai you will meet your local tour guide who waiting for you at the exit gate with a signboard writing your name then take the car to go uphill to Sapa town. Have breakfast at the local restaurant.

Am. A 40-minute drive takes you to Tram Ton Pass at the height of 2047 meters above sea level (the highest pass in Vietnam) where great views are offered of the surrounding mountains and lush forests of the Hoang Lien National Park. From there you will trek 30 minutes through the forest. Along the way, you have many chances to see wildflowers. Trekking along the stream you will arrive at the Love Waterfall. It is the best place for relaxing in Sa Pa then return to Tram Ton and drive back to Sa Pa. to have lunch at the local restaurant

Pm : You will take a car from Sa Pa to visit Fansipan, the highest peak of the Indochina mountains. It normally takes people one or two days to reach the peak of Fansipan mountain on foot. However, you will take The three-rope cable car system which carries you from the bottom to the highest point of the mountain in 15-20 minutes. Fansipan cable car is kind of a modern three-wire cable in the world, the first time presence in Asia. Distance from the Muong Hoa Valley to the peak is 6,2km long, a total of 35 cabins, passing 6 main pillars, each pillar is away from each other by 1 km.

From there, you can enjoy the scenery and magnificent views of Sapa and can admire views of Muong Hoa valley and Hoang Lien National Forest from above. also the beautiful landscape of Lai Chau province. Then, you will be transferred back to Sapa.

Day 2 Sunday : Sapa – Bac Ha Hill Tribal Market – Sapa (B/L)

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel then start the day tour. we drive to Bac Ha market (approximately 2.5 hours). Arriving at Bac Ha, we visit the big market and colorful ethnic people of the Flower H’mong, Phu La, and Dao Tuyen minorities, who gather here to buy and sell their handicraft products. After spending the morning exploring the market, your lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, we drive downhill to start a short walk to Trung Do Village which is home to the Tay minority. Here you can visit a traditional Tay house. We will then travel by boat through the amazing countryside to Bao Nhai Village. Transfer you back to Sa Pa.

Day 3 Monday(BL): Trekking to Muong Hoa valley –  Lao Cai – Ha Noi

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel then start the day tour.

Depart from Sapa town by car to Lao Chai village, following the road down the hill. Views of the Muong Hoa valley and magnificent surroundings of mountains and rice terrace fields can be seen from this road. Along the road, people from many ethnic groups (H’mong, Zay, and Red Dao) are likely to be met, and there are stalls along the way that serve tea, fruits, and sweets. Soon after turning off the main road and taking a local path, we will arrive in the Black H’mong village of Lao Chai, where you will experience the daily life of the villagers. After that, we walk from Lao Chai to Ta Van village, where the Zay hill tribes live. Here you take a rest and enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by your local guide in a local house. After lunch, you trek up and downhill. Especially you will trek through the bamboo forest and then relax beside the waterfall. Explore the Red Dao village of Giang Ta Chai where you will also have the chance to see their daily activities. In the afternoon the car will pick you up for the return journey to Sa Pa.

In the late afternoon, our guide and driver will transfer you go back to Lao Cai train station.

Overnight on the train to Lao Cai station-  Soft sleeper in joined Cabin deluxe express Train 4berths with A/C – Arrival Hanoi next morning around 5:30 AM.
